Really.. D/P/PT starters... Then I choose Chimchar because Infernape can learn a variety of different moves thanks to its fighting as it's type such as Stone Edge, Earthquake and Thunder Punch (HGSS Move Tutor). Stone Edge would take care of it's weakness to Flying, The fighting type moves would take care of Rock, and Thunder Punch would beat its biggest weakness being Water. It would only have to worry about Psychic and Ground. Infernape also has high base speed and attack, so with the right natures this monkey is a force to be reckoned with.
